Our Basic First Aid Course Aims:
This Certified comprehensive one-day course is particularly suited to anyone who is likely to have to respond to emergencies in the home, workplace or in the community. This first aid course will also enable participants to act as a back up to First Aid Responders in the workplace. It covers the main life threatening conditions you could be faced with during the normal course of your life.

Course Contents:

• Assessment of Emergency Situation
• Activation of Emergency services
• Respiratory Emergencies: Choking, Asthma
• Response to Heart Attack, Sudden Cardiac Arrest, Stroke. CPR and use of an AED
• Wounds and Bleeding
• Epilepsy
• Diabetes
• Fainting
• Concussion
• Shock
• Musculoskeletal Injuries: Fractures, Dislocations, Sprains & Strains
• Burns and scalds

Course Certification:

Participants shall receive a Basic / Emergency First Aid Certificate including CPR AED Heart Attack Stroke & Choking accredited by CPD and valid for two years. 

There is no exam or assessment with this course but full participation is required to receive certification.
