Our Sports First Aid Course Aims:
This Sports First Aid course is designed for all individuals involved in sport who wish to make sport safer by improving their basic First Aid knowledge and skills. Whether you are a player looking to learn the basics in First Aid or a coach of a sports team, this course will equip you with the necessary skills to give basic Sports First Aid in real life situations.

Course Contents:

• Assessment of sport injuries.
• Activation of emergency response.
• The basics of CPR for Adults and Children (1 day course only).
• Compressions / Breaths (1 day course only).
• How to use an AED (Automatic External Defibrillator) (1 day course only).
• Bleeding & Wounds: facial, abdominal injuries.
• Concussion (return to play protocol).
• Fainting.
• Diabetes.
• Epilepsy.
• Musculoskeletal injuries: Fractures, Dislocations, Sprains and Strains.

Course Certification:
Participants shall receive a Sports / Emergency First Aid Certificate including CPR AED Heart Attack Stroke & Choking accredited by CPD and valid for two years.
